ACADEMIC TITLE AND POSITION	Dr. / Lecturer
CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND	Doctor of Sciences (PhD) in Psychology, university lecturer with experience in teaching, scientific research, and professional practice in the fields of clinical psychology and counseling. Currently a full-time lecturer at a university, with advanced academic training integrating clinical psychology, psychological counseling, psychometric assessment, and mental health studies. Academic and research activity focuses on clinical psychology and psychotherapy, occupational stress and burnout syndrome, cultural adaptation of psychological instruments, the functioning of psychosocial services within educational and correctional systems, as well as the interconnection between mental health and the protection of human rights.
POSITION	Currently serves as Head of the Department of Behavioral and Health Sciences at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Tourism, and Sports, Barleti University, contributing to academic leadership, institutional organization, and the development of teaching and research programs in the fields of psychology and mental health. In parallel, holds the position of Lecturer in the Department of Behavioral and Health Sciences, engaging in university teaching, scientific research, and academic supervision in the areas of clinical psychology and counseling.
CONTRIBUTIONS	Established academic and scientific profile in the field of clinical psychology and mental health, with sustained contributions to research, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences. Author and co-author of scientific articles, professional manuals, and institutional reports, contributing to the development of evidence-based practices and the strengthening of professional standards in psychology. Academic engagement also includes the supervision of professional internships and mini-theses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, as well as academic and clinical supervision in the fields of clinical psychology and counseling. Within the framework of professional engagement, member of the Order of Psychologists of the Republic of Albania and the Albanian Institute of Sociology.
ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL AREAS OF INTEREST	Active engagement includes involvement in research, academic, and professional projects at national and international levels, with a focus on the development of mental health practices, psychosocial services, and the integration of scientific research with clinical and educational practice. Key areas of development interest include clinical psychology and counseling, the promotion and protection of mental health, psychological assessment and the cultural adaptation of psychometric instruments, as well as psychosocial interventions within educational and correctional systems. At the same time, Dr. Rustemi is actively engaged in the promotion and protection of human rights as a fundamental value underpinning her academic and professional activity.
