CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND	Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) from Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Germany; Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Postgraduate Studies Diploma (DSPU) from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh), Crete, Greece; Degree in Forestry Engineering from the Agricultural University of Tirana. University lecturer trained in ecology, with many years of experience in teaching, scientific research, and academic leadership.
POSITION	Has held important academic leadership roles, including: Executive Director of the Barleti Institute for Research and Development (BIRD); Acting Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at “Marin Barleti” University; Head of the Department of Business Management at the same university; Dean of the Faculty of Integrated Studies with Practice at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës, etc.
CONTRIBUTIONS	Author and co-author of numerous scientific publications, including one book and several book chapters, 7 conference proceedings, and over 20 scientific articles, 9 of which are in impact factor journals; 760+ citations, h-index 8 and i10-index 7. Reviewer for Tree Physiology and the Journal of Experimental Botany, among others, contributing significantly to research in environment and sustainable tourism.
ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL AREAS OF INTEREST	Actively engaged in national and international academic and professional networks. Recipient of several research and travel grants, including DAAD, Max Planck Society, European Science Foundation (ESF), German Ministry of Science and Education (BMBF), Phytochemical Society of Europe, and the Rufford Small Grant for Nature Conservation (RSG). Research interests include urban ecology, biodiversity, sustainable rural development and tourism, and environmental impact assessment (EIA/SEA).
