CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND	Completed Bachelor's studies in Primary Education ("Cikli i Ulët") at the University of Elbasan between 1989 and 1992, obtained a master’s degree in teaching in 2006, and earned a PhD (Doctor of Sciences) in Inclusive Education from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Tirana in 2018.
POSITION	Lecturer at Marin Barleti University, in the Department of Education Sciences and Professional Training.
CONTRIBUTIONS	Has worked in primary and university-level teaching for many years. Has also worked for a series of local and international organizations in fields related to human rights protection and anti-discrimination through enhancement of institutional capacities of Independent Human Rights Institutions, such as the People’s Advocate (Ombudsman) and the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination; entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business management/leadership education for high school adolescents; supporting youth activism with a focus on social cohesion, peacebuilding, and reconciliation; children’s rights with a focus on quality education, inclusive education for children with disabilities, Roma/Egyptian children, and children belonging to other vulnerable and disadvantaged groups; child protection from various forms of violence and abuse; early childhood care and education; professional development of in-service professionals and at the university level; meaningful child participation; child rights protection, and gender equity; etc. Some of the organizations where she has worked include Save the Children in Albania, Junior Achievement of Albania, local offices of Council of Europe, UNDP, UNFPA, and UNICEF. As an independent expert, she has been engaged with the Global Campaign for Education, the Secretariat for the Middle East and South-East Europe, OXFAM IBIS Denmark, Save the Children in Kosovo, the EU Delegation to Albania, and other civil society organizations in our country. In the academic field, she is the author and co-author of scientific articles, focusing primarily on the field of inclusive education.
ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL AREAS OF INTEREST	Active in project proposal writing and project management at Marin Barleti University.
