ACADEMIC TITLE AND POSITION	Prof. Assoc. Dr. / Professor
CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND	Doctor of Science, Associate Professor with multidisciplinary training and over 40 years of experience in teaching, scientific research and academic leadership. He holds three university degrees and has built his academic activity in combination with Physical Education, Special Education, and Health Education, and serves as an expert on behalf of ASCAL and the Ministry of Education.
POSITION	He has held and continues to hold important academic leadership roles, including Head of Department, Director of the Educational Directorate, Member of the Senate, as well as ASCAL and MoE expert, and Project Manager for projects funded by AKSHI.
CONTRIBUTIONS	Research engagement focuses on Physical Education Didactics and Special Education, with an emphasis on the inclusion of children with special educational needs, and a sustained contribution to scientific publications and the development of institutional research capacity. He is the author and co-author of 22 scientific publications, as well as textbooks and teaching curricula, and has supervised two doctoral dissertations.
ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL AREAS OF INTEREST	Active in national and international academic and professional networks, contributing to the development of scientific research and innovation policies. He has drafted, managed, and participated in projects such as career counseling orientation for children and parents and the use of ICT to support children with special educational needs. He is an expert for ASCAL and the Ministry of Education in opening and accrediting study programs in Physical Education and Sports and in the field of Disability.
