ACADEMIC TITLE AND POSITION MSc. / Assistant Lecturer
CURRENT ACADEMIC STATUS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Master of Science, with a multidisciplinary academic background in physical activity, health, education, and management. Holds three university degrees, including a two-year European Master’s degree in Health and Physical Activity (Erasmus+), completed in Italy, Denmark, and Germany, as well as a Professional Master’s degree in Marketing and Operational Management. Her academic and professional career has been developed at the intersection of physical education, public health, scientific research, and sports project management.
POSITION She holds and has held active administrative and leadership roles within academic institutions and civil society organizations, including Vice President of the “Barleti” Association, Member of the Ethics Council at Marin Barleti University, Project Manager for the “Barleti” Association and for university-based projects related to physical activity and health, as well as Student Coordinator in the first cycle of studies.
CONTRIBUTIONS Her research activity focuses on physical activity and the health of mothers and children, the role of parents in children’s participation in sport, sport as a tool for education and social development, and policies related to physical education and sport. She is the author and co-author of six scientific and professional publications and has presented nine research papers at national and international conferences across Europe, contributing to academic discourse on sport, health, and social development.
ACTIVE ENGAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENTAL AREAS OF INTEREST She is actively involved in national and international projects (Erasmus+, GIZ), professional training programs, and academic networks, with a particular focus on: education and teaching at different levels, as well as the preparation/training of specialists in physical education and fitness; didactics of physical activity and sport methodology; physical and educational development of children and youth; promotion of sport among girls and women; sport as a tool for sustainable development, social inclusion, and Olympic education. Her professional engagement reflects a consistent commitment to sport as a means of education, health promotion, and community empowerment, with a strong emphasis on fair play, Olympic values, and participatory democracy.
